This Guardian Nomination is designed for parents of children under the age of 18 years old. You have the right to nominate someone to care for your kids in an emergency. Make sure your voice is heard. And if you think it would be hard to choose someone, think how hard it would be for a judge to get it right for you. - Choose a guardian for your child/children in case you cannot care for them for an extended period.- If your preferred guardian is not in California, it’s even more important that you put your wishes in writing.
